My chest hurts a little, what's going on?

When you feel breast swelling and pain, you should consider that it is a sign of menstruation, because it is normal to have breast pain before menstruation. If it is in the non-menstrual stage, and the breast pain persists for a period of time and has not recovered, and it hurts when you press it gently with your hand, this symptom can be considered an abnormal manifestation, including breast pain caused by breast hyperplasia, which requires reasonable diagnosis and treatment.

There are many reasons for breast pain, and breast pain before menstruation that does not ease after menstruation is one of the most typical symptoms of breast hyperplasia. In addition, there are the following reasons for chest pain.

1. Chest pain caused by breast hyperplasia: The pain in this case does not change with the menstrual cycle, has no fixed time, and lasts for a longer time. These women are mostly around 40 to 45 years old, slightly older than those with physiological pain. The pain is limited to the breast and is relatively shallow.

2. Swelling and pain caused by increased stress: Mental stress can also affect hormone secretion and menstruation, leading to breast hyperplasia and other conditions. When you are too busy at work and under too much pressure, you will not only experience menstrual disorders but also breast pain.

3. Chest pain caused by mastitis: This pain is very obvious and unbearable, and is accompanied by redness, swelling and heat. It mostly occurs in primiparas within 1 to 2 months after delivery. It can be pain caused by inflammation and infection due to milk stasis and blockage, or it can be pain caused by bacterial infection due to nipple cracks.

4. Chest pain caused by cervical spondylosis: Cervical spondylosis can cause chest pain, which is due to cervical vertebrae degeneration and involvement of cervical nerve roots. This pain is often chronic and unilateral. The degree of pain is often related to the position of the neck. In addition to breast tenderness, there is also tenderness in the pectoralis major muscle, as well as pain and discomfort in the neck, occipital bone, shoulders and arms. X-rays often show signs of degenerative changes, but there are no abnormalities in the breast itself.

5. Pain caused by psychological suggestion: Some women "anticipate" breast pain before or after menstruation, and often the pain actually occurs at that time. This has formed a psychological suggestion and conditioned reflex. Experts from Chongqing Metropolitan Beauty Hospital point out that keeping a good mood is the best way to reduce or eliminate psychological breast pain.

No matter what the cause of breast pain is, it will cause inconvenience to women's life and work. If women find similar situations, they must go to the hospital in time to check the cause.
