The cervix we often talk about is actually the uterine cervix, which is a relatively important organ in the female body. The cervix has always had a direct relationship with women's physical health, fertility, and health care. Of course, many diseases are prone to occur in the cervix. Each disease is caused by many reasons, and different diseases will bring different symptoms. There are three types of cervical transmission areas. What does cervical transformation zone mean? The cervical transformation zone is a more professional term in clinical practice. Ordinary people are less exposed to it in daily life, so many women can clearly understand the definition of the cervical transformation zone. In fact, the cervical transformation zone refers to the area where the columnar epithelium of the female cervix is replaced by new squamous epithelium. Its outer edge is the junction of the original squamous epithelium and columnar epithelium, while the inner edge is mainly the junction of the physiological squamous epithelium and columnar epithelium. Generally speaking, the cervical transformation zone is the main area for cervical precancerous lesions and cervical cancer, so female friends need to be especially cautious. Through diagnostic examination of the cervical transformation zone, it is possible to promptly diagnose whether the subject has cervical precancerous lesions or cervical cancer symptoms. Generally speaking, the examination results mainly include three types: cervical transformation zone type 1, cervical transformation zone type 2, and cervical transformation zone type 3. Is cervical transformation zone type 3 serious? Cervical transformation zone type 1 It mainly refers to the fact that after the cervix is colored, a complete transformation zone can be seen under the detection instrument. This situation mainly means that there is no precancerous lesion or cervical cancer cells in the transformation zone of the female cervix. Cervical transformation zone type 2 Mainly, after the cervical staining test, part of the transformation zone can be seen, and part of it is located in the cervical canal. Both of these are relatively satisfactory cervical examination results. Cervical transformation zone type 3 The examination mainly refers to the situation that after the cervical staining examination, the complete transformation zone can no longer be seen. This situation is abnormal and is an unsatisfactory cervical examination result. It may be a precancerous lesion of cervical erosion, and further treatment is recommended. In addition, the chance of developing precancerous lesions and cervical cancer in cervical transformation zone type 3 is much higher than in types 1 and 2, so women who are being examined must pay attention to this. |
