The swelling and pain at the vaginal opening are actually caused by these diseases!

From a clinical point of view, if the swelling and pain at the vaginal opening is not caused by rough sexual life, it is very likely that you have suffered from some gynecological disease. The most common ones are Trichomonas vaginitis, candidal vaginitis, Gardnerella vaginitis, gonococcal vaginitis, etc. This is mainly caused by not paying attention to personal hygiene, wearing tight and non-breathable underwear, and unclean sexual life. Therefore, if you want to completely stay away from this symptom, the best way is to develop good hygiene habits, pay more attention to exercise, and improve your own immunity. There are many ways to treat vaginal swelling and pain. What you need to pay attention to is that you must not just go to a small clinic for treatment. You must go to a regular hospital.

1. Trichomonas vaginitis: caused by the pathogen Trichomonas vaginalis, it is transmitted through sexual intercourse or indirectly (through bathtubs, tubs, swimming pools, clothing, dressings and contaminated equipment, etc.). The main symptoms are vulvar itching, increased leucorrhea, which is light yellow and foamy. In severe cases, the leucorrhea may be mixed with blood. There is also a burning sensation and pain during sexual intercourse. When accompanied by a urethral infection, there may be frequent urination, painful urination, and even hematuria.

2. Fungal vaginitis: It is caused by the pathogen Candida albicans. It often occurs in women who use hormones and antibiotics for a long time and in pregnant women. The main routes of transmission are sexual intercourse, baths, bath towels, etc. The main symptoms are tofu-like leucorrhea and vulvar itching.

3. Gardnerella vaginitis: also known as Haemophilus influenzae vaginitis, it can be transmitted through sexual intercourse. Among people with promiscuous sexual relations, Gardnerella vaginitis has a high prevalence. Infections caused by Gardnerella are more common in sexually active women. In the acute phase, the amount of leucorrhea increases, and it has a fishy or ammonia odor. The vulva becomes damp and uncomfortable, often accompanied by a burning sensation in the vagina, pain during sexual intercourse, and itching of the vulva.

4. Gonococcal vaginitis: caused by the pathogen - Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and can be transmitted through unclean or promiscuous sexual intercourse. There are also a few cases of indirect transmission through wearing swimsuits infected with gonococci or through bathtubs, toilets, etc. contaminated with gonococci. Its symptoms include lower abdominal pain, increased vaginal discharge, purulent leucorrhea, redness, swelling and pain at the vaginal opening, etc. If not treated in time, it may turn into chronic gynecological inflammation. 10% to 20% of women may experience infertility or ectopic pregnancy.
