What are the symptoms and treatment of cervical erosion?

Cervical erosion is a very common gynecological disease and is a disease that many female friends will encounter, so learning more about it is also a kind of protection for yourself. When cervical erosion occurs, the patient's body will show a series of abnormal conditions, such as increased vaginal discharge, exogenous itching, lower abdominal pain, etc. If the treatment can be timely, the effect of drug treatment will be more appropriate.

1. Increased leucorrhea:

Increased vaginal discharge is the main symptom of this disease. Usually the vaginal discharge is milky white or light yellow purulent secretion, sometimes bloody or mixed with blood.

2. Itching and pain in the vulva:

The vulva and vagina may be irritated by increased leucorrhea and may develop vulvitis or vaginitis, causing vulva and vaginal itching and pain.

3. Pain in the lower abdomen and lumbar sacral region:

When the inflammation is severe, it can spread along the uterosacral ligament and cardinal ligament and lead to pelvic connective tissue inflammation, causing pain in the lower abdomen or lumbosacral region, accompanied by a feeling of falling.

4. Frequent urination or difficulty urinating:

When the inflammation spreads to the trigone or around the bladder, frequent urination or difficulty urinating may occur.

5. Infertility:

The sticky leucorrhea is not conducive to sperm penetration, so severe cervicitis can cause infertility.

Drug treatment is suitable for patients with small erosion surface, shallow inflammatory infiltration or limited conditions. Use 25% silver nitrate, chromic acid and other local corrosion agents. The vagina should be irrigated before medication, then wiped dry with dry cotton balls, and cotton balls should be used to protect the normal vaginal mucosa. The drug can also be applied topically with Aibao (preferably by a doctor) or self-administered with vaginal suppositories. Drug treatment is mainly suitable for non-pregnant patients with mild to moderate cervical erosion, but drug treatment generally takes a long time and costs more.
