I have been menopausal for three years and now I am bleeding again. What is going on?

Generally, women will experience menstrual irregularities when they reach around 50 years old, the earliest being at 40 years old and the latest at around 60 years old. This type of menstrual disorder is caused by ovarian failure, which is a major manifestation of a woman's body entering aging. The general definition of menopause is that after a woman has stopped menstruating for one year and no longer has her period, it can be basically confirmed that she has reached menopause. Of course, this refers to women in menopause. But why am I bleeding again after three years of amenorrhea?

After menopause, women are unlikely to have menstruation again if they have no symptoms or do not intentionally supplement estrogen. If you suddenly have your period one, two, or even longer after menopause, don't think you've returned to your youth. There may be a big problem with the human body.

According to experts, endometrial cancer is most likely to occur in menopausal women and is also one of the malignant tumors in women. The most typical early manifestation of endometrial cancer is non-menstrual bleeding and excessive secretions in the vagina. If you don't pay attention and don't care, it's easy to delay treatment.

In addition, except for endometrial cancer, the other two of the three major gynecological tumors, cervical cancer and ovarian cancer, can also cause irregular menstruation and postmenopausal bleeding. Therefore, I would like to advise all female friends in the world that if you have postmenopausal bleeding, don’t think that you have regressed to youth. Go to the hospital immediately to save your life.

However, according to experts, there are three possible causes of postmenopausal bleeding:

First, the ovaries are completely missing.

Menstrual disorders in menopausal women may be affected by the ovaries. When the ovaries are not completely absent, the secretion of growth hormone can still stimulate the thickening and shedding of the endometrium, resulting in menstruation.

Second, genital inflammation

It is precisely because of the decrease in the ovaries of menopausal women and the sharp decrease in estrogen in the body that the sexual organs shrink and the resistance to diseases is poor, that varying degrees of inflammation occur, resulting in non-menstrual bleeding and blood secretion.

Third, the misuse of growth hormone

Some women are afraid of aging and use female hormones indiscriminately to prevent aging. This method is not worth advocating, and growth hormone should be taken under the guidance of a doctor. In addition, according to experts, elderly women may suffer from uterine arteriosclerosis, which may cause partial uterine wall hypoxia, ischemia and necrosis. This causes bleeding, which can be more or less, but is relatively sudden.

But no matter what kind of situation causes postmenopausal bleeding, it is necessary to see a doctor and be highly alert.
