What to do if you keep bleeding after a biochemical pregnancy

After a biochemical pregnancy occurs, the gestational sac will be discharged from the vagina on its own, just like menstruation. Due to different physical conditions, for some people the bleeding will stop within a few days after a biochemical pregnancy, but for others the bleeding will last longer. It is also accompanied by abdominal pain, which is similar to the symptoms of menstruation. So what should you do if you keep bleeding after a biochemical pregnancy?

Post-abortion care

1. Strengthen nutrition: There will be more or less blood loss after miscarriage, plus the pregnancy reaction in the early pregnancy stage, which will generally make the body weaker after miscarriage, and some people will also have mild anemia. Therefore, after miscarriage, you should eat more nutritious supplements, as well as fresh vegetables and fruits. Such as lean meat, fish, eggs, chicken, milk, seafood, soy products, etc.

2. Pay attention to personal hygiene: During miscarriage, it takes a certain amount of time for the cervix to open and close completely, so special attention should be paid to personal hygiene after miscarriage. Keep your private parts clean, wash and change your underwear frequently, and do not take a bath in a tub within half a month. It should also be pointed out that within one month after abortion, the uterus has not yet fully recovered and sexual intercourse is strictly prohibited to prevent infection.

3. Get enough rest and prevent overwork: You must rest in bed for two weeks after miscarriage. Do not participate in physical labor too early and strictly prevent excessive fatigue and cold and dampness. Otherwise, uterine prolapse is likely to occur.

4. Don’t rush to get pregnant again: It takes 4-5 months for the endometrium to fully return to normal after a miscarriage. During this period, you should strictly prevent pregnancy again, because getting pregnant before the endometrium has returned to normal will have an adverse effect on fetal growth and future delivery.

5. Keep a happy mood: Many women lack scientific knowledge about abortion and become depressed after a miscarriage. Some even worry about having another miscarriage in the future. This concern is unnecessary. Because the vast majority of biochemical pregnancies are accidental, and about 70% of the fetuses in biochemical pregnancies are abnormal pathological embryos, mainly due to chromosomal abnormalities, and it is difficult for them to develop into mature fetuses. Biochemical pregnancy can be considered a form of natural selection that is beneficial to eugenics and there is no need to worry about it. A happy mood will speed up the body's recovery after miscarriage and is beneficial to health.
