What are the symptoms of acute pelvic inflammatory disease?

Compared with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, the symptoms of acute pelvic inflammatory disease are more obvious, and sometimes they are fierce, especially causing pain to the patient. It often causes high fever, headache, chills, and urinary system symptoms, such as urinary pain, urgency, and frequency of urination, etc. It can also cause some symptoms of the digestive system, such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and other symptoms.

1. Changes in leucorrhea. Patients with acute pelvic inflammatory disease may experience increased vaginal discharge, which becomes purulent and has a foul odor within a short period of time.

2. Systemic symptoms. The symptoms of acute pelvic inflammatory disease are more obvious, and most patients will experience high fever, chills, headache and other symptoms.

3. Bladder irritation symptoms. If an abscess is formed and located in the front, bladder irritation symptoms may occur, such as frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating.

4. Digestive system irritation symptoms. When acute pelvic inflammatory disease is accompanied by peritonitis, digestive system symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and abdominal distension may also occur.

5. Rectal irritation symptoms. If located posteriorly, rectal irritation symptoms may occur, such as tenesmus, anal distension, diarrhea, and difficulty in defecation.

6. Pain. Scar adhesions caused by inflammation and pelvic congestion can cause lower abdominal distension, pain, and lumbar pain. It often worsens after fatigue, sex, and before and after menstruation.

After a woman suffers from pelvic inflammatory disease, her body will show many symptoms, such as some of the systemic symptoms mentioned above, and many digestive system problems. Experts remind that if a woman experiences the above conditions, she must receive standardized treatment. Pelvic inflammatory disease should be treated in a timely manner. Try to go to a regular hospital and have professional doctors diagnose and treat you. They will develop a scientific treatment plan for you. With your active cooperation, you will be able to recover as soon as possible.
