Can blocked fallopian tubes cause ovulation?

In recent years, with the increasing dual pressure of work and life on women, many female friends have suffered from the disease of fallopian tube blockage, which has led to an increase in female infertility. Therefore, many people believe that infertility caused by fallopian tube blockage is mainly due to the fact that the patient no longer ovulates. In fact, this statement is wrong. So will a woman ovulate after her fallopian tubes are blocked?

Will I ovulate if my fallopian tubes are blocked?

The eggs are released from the ovaries. Even if the fallopian tubes are blocked, ovulation will not be affected if the ovaries function normally. Therefore, there is no relationship between fallopian tube blockage and ovulation. However, if the fertilized egg cannot enter the uterus, infertility will result.

Blockage of the fallopian tubes affects the passage of sperm, hinders the combination of sperm and egg, or hinders the implantation of the fertilized egg. Therefore, fallopian tube blockage is still the main cause of female infertility. According to surveys, infertility caused by fallopian tube blockage accounts for one-third of female infertility. Ovulation is the responsibility of the ovaries and has nothing to do with fallopian tube blockage:

1. The ovary determines whether the egg can be discharged normally, and the fimbria guides the egg into the fallopian tube, which is where the sperm and egg meet, combine and move back to the uterus.

2. The reason why women cannot ovulate is that abnormal endocrine function leads to ovulation disorders or anovulation, while fallopian tube blockage is mostly the result of long-term inflammatory infection.

3. Fallopian tube blockage affects pregnancy mainly by affecting the passage of sperm, but will not affect ovulation in the ovaries, so women can still ovulate after fallopian tube blockage. However, pregnancy is not possible if the fallopian tubes are blocked.
