The uterine wall changes with the menstrual cycle. The endometrium is 7mm thick. If it is in the first half of the menstrual cycle, it is normal and no special treatment is needed. If the normal menstrual cycle is in the second half of the menstrual period, but the uterine wall is too thin 20 days after the menstrual period, it may be due to menstrual disorders or damage to the uterine wall after curettage, and targeted treatment should be given. After menopause, the uterine wall should be less than 4mm. If the endometrial thickness is 7mm and accompanied by non-menstrual bleeding in the vagina, hysteroscopy and curettage should be performed to eliminate uterine wall diseases. Under normal circumstances, the thickness of the uterine wall is different at different times during the menstrual period. For example, when the menstrual period has just ended, the uterine wall is super thin, generally around 0.5cm, and after the middle and late stages of the menstrual period, the uterine wall gradually thickens, reaching 1-2cm. The uterine wall is thicker before menstruation, which means that the uterine wall gradually goes through the proliferative period to the metabolic period, and then to the shedding period. The uterine wall is generally of a normal thickness of 7mm. Whether the menstrual period has just ended or is about to begin, the thickness can be 7mm. This thickness does not indicate any problems. If abnormal echoes are found in the uterine cavity, the thickness is thicker, or other conditions occur, treatment is required. The uterine wall of female patients will show regular changes. When the thickness of the endometrium reaches 7mm, it means that menarche is about to occur. During the menstrual period, the uterine wall will fall off from the uterine body and be discharged from the body along with the menstrual blood. After the menstrual period, the symptoms of endometrial hyperplasia will appear. As the uterine wall thickens, it enters the metabolic period. When the uterine wall reaches about 7-10mm, it enters the menstrual period. The uterine artery gradually becomes twisted, and as it ruptures and bleeds, it will cause menstrual blood to form and start a new menstrual cycle. This is a normal physiological phenomenon for women and does not require treatment. Under the influence of some disease factors, the uterine wall may reach 7mm during the proliferative period, which may cause irregular vaginal bleeding and requires timely treatment of the disease. |
