When is a woman's ovulation period? Tell you the correct algorithm

Every woman has different physical conditions, so the ovulation period is also different, but there are scientific methods to calculate the ovulation period, and there are also some measures to help women detect whether they are in the ovulation period. The following will introduce you to professional knowledge in this area.

1. When is a woman’s ovulation period?

Generally speaking, a woman's ovulation date is about 14 days before the next menstrual period. The 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, together with the ovulation day, a total of 10 days are called the ovulation period.

2. Method 1 to calculate ovulation period by calculation formula

The most popular and most commonly used method for calculating the ovulation period is this: the 14 days before a woman's next menstrual period is her ovulation day. The ten days 4 days before her ovulation day, the ovulation day, and the 5 days after the ovulation day are called the ovulation period.

3. Method 2 to calculate ovulation period by calculation formula

The easiest way to calculate ovulation is through your own menstrual cycle. The calculation formula is: the first day of ovulation = the shortest menstrual cycle minus 18 days, the last day of ovulation = the longest menstrual cycle minus 11 days. The calculation method is to take the first day of menstruation as the base point and count the days backwards. For example, if a woman's menstrual cycle in the previous few months was 30 days at most and 28 days at most, then the first day of ovulation = 28 days - 18 days = 10 days, and the last day of ovulation = 30 days - 11 days = 19 days. In other words, her ovulation period is the 10th day of this menstruation, and the last day is the 19th day of this menstruation.

4. The difference between ovulation period and ovulation day:

Many women don't know the difference between ovulation period and ovulation day. Simply put, the ovulation period is 10 days, but the ovulation day is only 1 day. For example, if the 15th of each month is the ovulation day, then the 10th to 20th is the ovulation period.
