How are bra sizes determined? Girls, come and study.

Little girls will start wearing bras as they grow older. At the beginning, many people don’t know how to distinguish the sizes of bras, so they don’t know how to buy the one that suits them. So today I will introduce to you how to distinguish the sizes of bras.

1. The bra model is composed of two parts: bra size and cup size. The female chest circumference usually refers to the length around the chest along the female nipple. The size of a bra refers to the underbust of a woman, which is the length around the chest along the base of the breast. Cup size refers to the difference between a woman's bust circumference and her underbust circumference.

2. Assuming a woman has a chest circumference of 85cm and a lower chest circumference of 70cm, then the cup size is 85cm-70cm=15cm. The cup size is usually indicated by capital letters such as a, b, and c. Each 2.5 cm is a level, with the minimum aa being 7.5 cm, a being 10 cm, b being 12.5 cm, c being 15 cm, d being 17.5 cm, and e being 20 cm. Anything above that is considered a special size (see size comparison table for details). For example, the woman in the example above has a bust of 85cm, an underbust of 70cm, and a cup size of 15cm, which is C. Therefore, the bra size that suits her is 70c. As long as the product complies with the international bra labeling standards, this method is used to distinguish models.

3. Measure your underbust circumference. Those with sagging breasts should push their breasts up to a normal position for measurement. Available numbers are: 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105. It is usually an integer multiple of five, and the allowable error is plus or minus 2.5cm. If there is an error, you need to try on two bras of similar sizes.

4. Determine the bra cup size (refer to the bra cup size chart), which is ABCD after the number, as breasts can be big or small. The chest circumference difference refers to the result obtained by subtracting your underbust circumference from your measured chest circumference, with an allowable error of plus or minus 1.25cm. If your bust difference is 13cm, it is a B cup.

5. Add the underbust circumference to the cup code. For example: your underbust circumference is 79, which is size 80. Your upper bust circumference is 92. The difference between the two numbers is 13cm, which is a B cup. Put the two together, congratulations, the bra you should wear is size 80B.
