What causes bleeding after period?

Many women will find that they bleed after their period. At this time, they need to understand whether it is caused by some reproductive diseases, such as malignant tumors, ectopic pregnancy, hydatidiform mole, etc. If it is ovulation bleeding, this phenomenon will also occur.

1. If bleeding is a persistent, long-term symptom and does not show any periodicity, it is generally considered to be caused by a malignant tumor of the reproductive tract. The first thing to be checked is cervical cancer or endometrial cancer.

2. If a woman is of childbearing age and has a normal sexual life, and bleeding occurs after her period ends, she should consider whether it is related to pregnancy, such as miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, hydatidiform mole, etc.

3. If there is not only vaginal bleeding but also increased leucorrhea, it is often seen in uterine tumors. Consider whether it is advanced cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, or uterine submucosal fibroids with infection.

4. Bleeding lasting three or four days occurs fourteen to fifteen days before the next menstruation. If the amount of bleeding is very small, it is mostly ovulation bleeding.

5. If there is a small amount of bleeding for several days before or after menstruation, or dark red vaginal discharge, it may be endometriosis, ovulatory menstrual disorders, or an adverse reaction to the placement of an intrauterine contraceptive device.
