Will I have stomach pain during early pregnancy?

In the early stages of pregnancy, some women feel chest pain, and some women feel abdominal discomfort. These are all normal. As the lower abdomen expands, the abdomen will indeed feel a little pain. This is not a psychological distortion and does not require treatment. If the lower abdominal pain is severe, you should go to the hospital for an ultrasound examination to rule out ectopic pregnancy. Mild pain like menstruation is normal.

Will I have stomach pain in early pregnancy?

1. In the early stages of pregnancy, you will not experience chest distension, frequent urination, and drowsiness. However, under normal circumstances, you will not experience abdominal pain. Abdominal pain in early pregnancy may indicate ectopic pregnancy or threatened abortion.

2. Due to the high risk of ectopic pregnancy and threatened abortion, it is recommended that you check whether you are pregnant immediately. You can use early pregnancy test strips to check and collect morning urine. If the test results are not obvious, you can go to the hospital for a blood test for HCG levels. The accuracy of early pregnancy judgment is high. If you are diagnosed with pregnancy, you need B-ultrasound or HCG test to clarify the cause of abdominal pain and treatment.

Symptoms of early pregnancy

1. Amenorrhea: For women with regular menstrual periods, pregnancy is relatively easy to identify, and amenorrhea is the first signal of pregnancy. Generally speaking, if your period is delayed for a week, you should suspect that you are pregnant. There are very few women who, despite being pregnant, still have one or two menstrual periods when they are supposed to have their periods. The missed periods are less than usual and the duration is shorter. This is called "leaking menstruation" in traditional Chinese medicine, and the real reason is not very clear.

2. Frequent urination and urgency: During the third month of pregnancy, the uterus gradually grows in the pelvis and presses on the bladder, causing women to have the urge to urinate frequently. In the second trimester, the uterus will move upward to the abdomen, and the symptoms of frequent urination and urgency will be improved. But in the later stages of pregnancy, frequent urination and urgency will occur again.

3. Fatigue and always want to sleep: In the early stages of pregnancy, many women will experience general fatigue, exhaustion, or no interest in doing things, and cannot muster the energy. They are very easily mentally fatigued, feel groggy all day long, and often feel sleepy.

4. Vomiting: Most women will experience nausea and vomiting when they are more than 6 weeks pregnant, usually within a few hours after getting up in the morning. If the symptoms are mild, they may have a decreased appetite, occasional nausea and vomiting; in a few people, the symptoms are severe, they vomit whatever they eat, even if they don't eat. The vomiting is not limited to the morning, and their sense of smell is very sensitive, and smelling an unpleasant smell will cause vomiting.

5. Frequent feeling of hunger: Many women feel hungry from the beginning of pregnancy. This feeling of hunger is different from the feeling of being hungry before.

6. Breast discomfort: Women in early pregnancy may experience tingling, swelling and itching in the breasts. Sometimes squeezing the nipples will produce thick, light yellow colostrum. And as the mammary glands become thicker, lumps-like substances will develop in the breasts.
