What is the normal value of pelvic effusion? You will understand everything after reading it

Under normal circumstances, the value of female pelvic fluid is less than ten millimeters. It may be more during menstruation. This is a normal phenomenon. If the value is too high, pelvic fluid accumulation will occur, and women will have corresponding symptoms.

1. The normal value of female pelvic fluid should be less than 10MM. Physiological pelvic effusion is less than 10 mm. During a woman's menstrual period and a few days after her menstrual period, some menstrual blood may flow back along the fallopian tubes into the pelvic cavity, and a small amount of fluid will be seen on ultrasound. Or after ovulation, the follicular fluid will flow into the pelvic cavity along with the ruptured follicle. The amount is generally very small, and a slightly larger amount in a few cases can be seen under ultrasound. These two types of diseases can disappear naturally and do not require treatment and will not cause harm to the body.

2. There is very little fluid in the normal pelvic cavity, which mainly reduces the friction between the visceral peritoneum and the parietal peritoneum. Sometimes exudation occurs due to inflammation, and at this time there will be more fluid than normal (effusion). After taking the medicine, the inflammation disappears and the effusion will be absorbed naturally. During ovulation and early pregnancy, physiological pelvic effusion within 10mm may occur, which can usually be absorbed by itself within one or two months.

3. Pelvic effusion refers to the presence of inflammatory exudate in the pelvic cavity, which may occur after pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis or endometriosis (pathological). According to pathological factors, pelvic effusion can be divided into physiological pelvic effusion and pathological pelvic effusion. Physiological pelvic effusion is not a bad thing for women, but pathological pelvic effusion is more harmful. Once a woman suffers from this type of effusion, she should go to the hospital in time for symptomatic treatment.

Suggestions: If the pelvic effusion is physiological, it can usually be eliminated by itself. If it is pathological, such as caused by inflammation, a small amount of effusion can be eliminated with medication, and a larger amount of effusion can be extracted by laparoscopy. For those who have not given birth, a cesarean section can be used to remove the effusion during delivery.
