What to do if pregnant women have reflux esophagitis

Pregnant women’s immunity decreases during pregnancy, and it is common for them to develop reflux esophagitis. As long as good treatment and care are provided in the early stages, recovery can be achieved quickly, and nursing work is particularly important.

For some pregnant women with reflux esophagitis, they need to eat less sour food, avoid eating hawthorn, and avoid eating sweet and greasy food. It is difficult to digest, and don’t eat vinegar when eating. Also, do not eat foods with high acidity, such as hawthorn.

In fact, further dietary adjustment is needed. The patient should have three meals at regular times and in regular amounts, and should avoid eating greasy food. On the contrary, pregnant women with reflux esophagitis need to eat light and soft food for the sake of their health. Don't drink alcohol. And don't take any medications.

Diseases that are often confused with reflux esophagitis include esophageal cancer. However, it is recommended that patients undergo further esophagoscopy and barium swallow X-ray examination for differentiation. Don’t eat any hair-raising food. Pregnant women with reflux esophagitis should see a doctor for treatment.

Patients with reflux esophagitis need to pay attention to their diet. They should eat a light diet, less greasy, less fried, less spicy food, and a combination of meat and vegetables. Do not overeat. Eat small meals frequently, and eat half full at each meal. The meal can be divided into 4-6 meals. Do not eat midnight snacks and do not lie down immediately after eating.

In addition to diet, patients with reflux esophagitis should also pay more attention to their daily living habits. For example, quitting smoking and drinking is necessary, because nicotine and Yichun both drip back into the esophagus and cause esophageal relaxation. You also need to control your weight, lose weight through aerobic exercise, maintain physical strength and enhance resistance.

The pillow you usually use should be higher to avoid reflux at night. When you are active, don't move too much, just exercise moderately and avoid bending over too much or other movements that put too much pressure on the abdomen. At the same time, keep a good mood, have a healthy and optimistic attitude, smile often, and good luck will come naturally.
