What causes pelvic mass? Do you know these?

Pelvic mass is a pelvic disease, mainly caused by pelvic inflammatory disease. This type of mass has a great impact on the health of the body and can cause abdominal pain, endometriosis, etc. in patients. When the pelvic mass is severe, it can lead to the appearance of tumors.

1. What is a pelvic mass?

Pelvic inflammatory mass is an inflammation of the female pelvic organs that has not received regular treatment, resulting in chronic inflammatory histological changes in the pelvis, leading to the occurrence of pelvic inflammatory mass. Patients often first have clinical manifestations of acute salpingitis, which can be relieved by taking anti-inflammatory drugs. Symptoms include lower abdominal pain, fever, and vaginal bleeding. Normally, patients may experience increased vaginal discharge and reduced lower abdominal pain later. As the pelvic mass grows, the pain increases but is tolerable, presenting as a dull ache in the lower abdomen. The abdominal pain caused by pelvic inflammatory disease will also worsen during menstruation, but it is not as obvious as the dysmenorrhea caused by endometriosis.

Types of pelvic masses

Pelvic masses can be divided into the following types according to their causes.

1. Functional mass: It is a physiological or temporary mass, seen in the pregnant uterus, ovarian corpus luteum cyst, etc.

2. Inflammatory mass: seen in hydrosalpinx, fallopian tube and ovarian cysts, etc.

3. Obstructive mass: caused by reproductive tract atresia or intestinal obstruction, seen in uterine cavity blood accumulation, incarcerated fecal mass, etc.

4. Tumor mass: seen in uterine fibroids.

Warm reminder: Long-term dietary structure, bad living habits, excessive psychological pressure and other factors cause excessive acidification of the body, which leads to a decline in the overall function of the human body, causing kidney deficiency. The liver and kidney are of the same origin, so kidney deficiency also leads to liver deficiency, which in turn causes the metabolism cycle in the lower part of the body to slow down, causing ovarian diseases and endocrine disorders, and a decline in immune function, which in turn develops into abnormal proliferation of ovarian tissue, eventually leading to ovarian cysts and even cancer.
