What causes breast disease?

The pathogenic factors are very complex. If not treated promptly or improperly, it may lead to metastasis and cause life threat at any time.

Breast diseases may be caused by factors such as infection, endocrine disorders, natural environment, and genetic inheritance. Common manifestations of breast diseases include breast lumps, breast swelling, nipple discharge, breast pain, and changes in breast skin and appearance.

1. A high-fat diet can cause endocrine disorders in women, increase the stimulating effect of estrogen on breast tissue, and cause breast hyperplasia. 2. The incidence of breast cancer increases significantly among women who smoke and take contraceptive drugs for a long time. 3. After the abortion, the body's female hormones suddenly disappear, the breast tissue suddenly stops growing and developing, the breast tissue cannot fully recover, and breast diseases occur. 4. Underwear made of lace or nylon can cause skin allergies. The fallen thread knots enter the mammary ducts, which may cause poor milk secretion and even mastitis. Women who wear tight bras and squeeze their cleavage too much may have obstructed blood circulation in their breasts and develop breast diseases.

What are the symptoms of breast disease?

Common symptoms: breast enlargement, chest pain, chest swelling

In clinical medicine, 80% of patients discover the cancer accidentally when taking a bath or changing clothes. By the time they seek medical treatment after symptoms appear, most of them are already in stage II or III. Some breast cancer patients have already lost hope of eradication when they seek medical treatment. If stage I breast cancer is detected in the early stages, the five-year survival rate after surgery is over 90%.

Mastitis

A. Subacute mastitis:

It is a subacute suppurative disease of the breast, usually caused by Staphylococcus aureus infection, and is common in primiparous women during lactation. Due to improper breastfeeding methods, poor milk discharge, blocked mammary glands, etc., milk congestion can easily occur, leading to bacterial growth; or in the case of nipple fissures, nipple deformities or nipple trauma, the bacteria can travel backwards from the nipple into the breast and spread to the mammary gland, causing infection.

B. Chronic mastitis:

One is that subacute mastitis is not treated properly, such as incorrect use of antibiotics; the other is that the entire inflammation process begins at the onset of the disease, mostly due to obstructed milk discharge and milk stasis that produces lumps. Its characteristics are slow onset, long history of illness, difficult to cure, and long-term difficulty in disappearing; a lump can be felt in the breast, with a lump as the specific manifestation. The lump is hard, with unclear boundaries and a sense of pressure. It may adhere to the skin, but the lump does not ulcerate, is not easy to form pus or disappear; there is no typical swelling, heat and pain in the breast area, and systemic symptoms such as fever, shivering, and fatigue are not obvious.
