The causes of lumbar pain, let's take a look

After a long day of work, sometimes I feel pain in the lumbar region when I get home. This brings a lot of trouble to our lives and affects our quality of life. There are many reasons why women experience lumbar pain. Let’s take a look at the reasons!

Causes of lumbar pain

The lumbar sacral region is the hub connecting the upper and lower body (including the pelvis and lower limbs) in the trunk. The structure is relatively complex. Four out of five adults experience significant lumbar pain at some point in their life. It usually occurs after exposure to cold weather and is the most common cause of loss of ability to work for a whole day in people under 45 years old.

The strength of the lumbar muscles provides you with the ability to stand, walk and lift heavy objects. There are many ligaments between the lumbar vertebrae to maintain their stability, including the anterior and posterior longitudinal ligaments, the yellow ligament, the interspinal ligaments, the supraspinal ligaments, etc. If you lack sufficient training or do not have strong muscle strength, or you are overly strained, any sudden movement or movement that injures the ligaments will cause lumbar pain and weakness. The causes of lumbar injuries are usually as follows:

1. Lack of training.

2. Improper use of muscles.

3. Obesity.

4. Smoking.

Normal aging of the body, especially in the lumbar region, causes osteoporosis and decreased bone density, decreased muscle strength and flexibility, and ligament relaxation. Although you cannot completely control the progression of aging, we can do so through regular training and exercise, correct methods of lifting objects, scientific nutritional supplements, and a healthy lifestyle. Reduce smoking to slow down aging. As age increases, everyone will inevitably experience "aging and aging". This aging process will cause the human body to feel some minor pain and loss of some functions.

The tension of women's waist muscles, fascia and ligaments around the lumbar spine is not as strong as that of men. They have poor adaptability to high-load exercise and are prone to strain. After a woman becomes pregnant, the uterus gradually enlarges, causing the lumbar spine to bend forward. The body's center of gravity shifts backward, changing the structure of the small joints of the lumbar spine and losing the normal physiological center of gravity balance, causing some of the waist muscles, fascia and ligaments to be in a state of high tension for a long time, resulting in chronic strain. In the late pregnancy, the abdominal organs move upward, and then suddenly drop down after delivery, pulling on the peritoneum, which is also an important cause of low back pain in women.
