(ii) Nutritious lunch

The energy provided by lunch should account for 40% of the total energy for the whole day, so lunch should be good and full, with comprehensive nutrition, sufficient energy, rich in high-quality protein, and a balance of meat and vegetables. The food should have good color, aroma and taste to promote appetite. The four major categories of food are also indispensable: cereals and potatoes, milk and beans, vegetables and fruits, and animal food (eggs, meat, seafood).

(III) Reasonable dinner

What is emphasized here is a reasonable dinner. In fact, the amount of dinner is about the same as that of breakfast. The energy provided by dinner only accounts for 30% to 35% of the total energy of the day. Food should be light and easy to digest, with appropriate amounts of meat and vegetables, especially low in protein and fat. Eat less greasy food and more vegetables. However, many people have a compensatory mentality because they eat too simple breakfast and lunch. Since they have time, they try to have a rich dinner. After eating, they become "couch potatoes" and sit still watching TV. Over time, obesity, high blood lipids, diabetes and other diseases will naturally come knocking.
