What are the symptoms of vaginal itching?

In the female body, the health of the vagina and vulva is extremely important. Once different lesions occur in the vagina, vulva itching will occur. People with normal and healthy vaginas will also experience vaginal itching. Most people experience vulva itching related to long-term sitting and poor blood circulation. What obvious symptoms usually appear after vulva itching and pain symptoms occur?

The itching is mostly located in the clitoris and labia minora. It can also affect the labia majora, perineum and even the perianal area. It is often paroxysmal, but can also be continuous, usually aggravated at night. Unexplained vulvar itching usually only occurs in women of childbearing age or postmenopausal women, often affecting the entire vulva, but may also be limited to a certain part or one side of the vulva. Although the itching is very severe and even unbearable, the local skin and mucous membranes appear normal, or there are only scratches due to excessive scratching.

The main symptoms of vulvovaginal candidiasis and Trichomonas vaginitis are vulvar itching and increased leucorrhea. The main symptom of vulvar squamous epithelial hyperplasia is vulvar itching, accompanied by loss of vulvar skin pigmentation. Why does vulvar itching caused by pinworm infection occur most frequently at night? In patients with diabetes, sugar in their urine irritates the vulvar skin, especially when complicated by vulvovaginal candidiasis. The vulvar itching is particularly inflammatory and even unbearable, but the local skin and mucous membranes appear normal, or there are only scratches and blood scabs due to excessive scratching. When patients with chronic diseases such as jaundice, vitamin A and B deficiency, anemia, leukemia, etc. experience vulvar itching, it is often part of systemic itching. Hepatobiliary cholestasis during pregnancy can also cause itching of the skin, including the vulva.

The occurrence of vulva itching is a common symptom of gynecological diseases in women. Every woman must take preventive measures. The cleanliness and hygiene of the vulva are the most important things women need to pay attention to. Otherwise, it will bring various viruses and bacteria to your partner and induce various complications. Only by taking good care of the vulva can you reduce the symptoms of itching and stinging and have a healthy body.
