A hard lump on the vulva hurts

A healthy body can enable us to have more control in life, and healthy people can live a delicate life very easily and are not prone to serious diseases that affect their daily lives. Women are the ones who need to maintain their health the most in daily life. The growth of a hard lump in the private parts troubles many women. So, what are the reasons for the growth of a hard lump in the private parts?

The reason why a hard pimple appeared in the private part

1. Allergic vulvitis is allergic dermatitis caused by detergents, skin care products, condoms and medical devices.

2. Mechanical irritation, such as bad living habits, private stains, tight underwear, sweat and dirt irritation, etc.

3. Post-traumatic abscesses can also cause more serious lumps.

4. Long-term placement of a pessary in the female vagina may cause foreign objects to remain in the vagina and infect and irritate the private parts, resulting in swelling and pain.

5. Vulvar pain with unclear causes, swelling and pain in the private vestibule, accompanied by frequent urination, urgency, inability to hold urine, and painful urination syndrome, the pathogenesis of which is unclear.

6. Vulvar cyst or private malignant tumor, vulvar cancer, etc.

7. Irritating effects of urine and excrement: irritating effects on urinary tract infections, fecal incontinence, and diabetes in patients with diabetes.

8. Private part infection, such as sexually transmitted diseases, vulvitis caused by germs, Trichomonas, bacteria, etc. It is one of the most common causes of vulvar bumps.

Common diseases that cause hard bumps in the private parts include papilloma, fibroma, lipoma, sweat adenoma and hemangioma.

1. Papilloma. They usually grow on both sides of the labia majora, separately, with small nipple protrusions on the surface, slightly hard texture, slow growth and development, no special feeling, and very rarely secondary malignant changes.

2. Fibroma. It usually grows on the surface or deep layer of the skin of the labia majora and can gradually grow larger. It may eventually develop into a solid tumor with a pedicle suspended from the labia majora. The patient may experience discomfort in the vulva.

3. Lipoma. Generally, it comes from the fat of the labia majora or mons pubis, which is relatively backward. In addition to feeling a soft lump, the patient has no other discomfort and is unlikely to worsen.

4. Sweat adenoma. It is located on the labia majora and vulva, usually only 1 cm to 2 cm in size, lump-shaped, and made of relatively firm material. The tumor grows slowly and generally does not cause discomfort, but in very rare cases it may worsen.

5. Hemangioma. It often appears on the labia majora or mons pubis, and looks like a small vascular nevus or a blue or red honeycomb-like mass, which is soft and has unclear boundaries. Because the vulva is rich in blood vessels, traumatic lacerations may cause internal bleeding. This condition requires hospital examination and diagnosis.
