The difference between ovulation pain and inflammation pain

Key reminder: Among female friends, many people may have experienced lower abdominal pain. If the pain occurs in the middle and late stages of the menstrual period, some female friends themselves may suspect that it is ovulation pain. In reality, it’s not always like that. There are many reasons for lower abdominal pain. The pain caused by ovulation pain is different from the pain caused by fallopian tube inflammation. Everyone must distinguish them to avoid misdiagnosis.

Salpingitis should be a disease that our female friends are more familiar with. The occurrence of this disease is directly related to pathogenic bacteria stimulation and infection. In clinical medicine, there are many women suffering from salpingitis, and most patients have symptoms of lower abdominal pain, but the time and degree of pain are different for each person. And everyone also knows that some women may also experience pain during ovulation. Therefore, many people are confused. How to judge whether the pain is caused by ovulation pain or fallopian tube inflammation? Today, we will focus on these aspects.

The so-called ovulation pain refers to the pain in the lower abdomen of girls during ovulation. There are many reasons for the discomfort in the lower abdomen. Fallopian tube inflammation can also cause pain. These aspects should be distinguished from ovulation pain. The two are generally distinguished from the following aspects:

First, ovulation pain only occurs during ovulation. Generally, the pain is not very severe, and may be a throbbing pain or a dull pain. If it is pain during ovulation, the pain will usually disappear on its own after ovulation. However, if it is pain caused by fallopian tube inflammation, abdominal discomfort may occur every day, and many people have it for a long time.

Second, the diagnosis and differentiation of symptoms are only guesses. In fact, further verification is needed. If it is ovulation pain, there are usually no other abnormal changes in the urinary system; but if there is salpingitis, the secretion test will indicate the presence of pathogens, and the bilateral fallopian tubes may be edematous or tortuous on B-ultrasound. These aspects need to be diagnosed comprehensively.

The above is the basic situation we often talk about today. Therefore, ovulation pain is very easy to distinguish from the pain caused by salpingitis. Only after the real cause of the abdominal pain is determined can the appropriate treatment measures be selected purposefully. Female friends must pay attention to their physical health, clean their lower body frequently and change underwear frequently, which can have a certain preventive effect on inflammation.
