What is pelvic effusion?

Pelvic effusion is a very common female disease, accounting for a very high proportion of female reproductive system diseases. There are many reasons for pelvic effusion. Abortion surgery, endometritis and various female reproductive system inflammations may cause pelvic effusion. Pelvic effusion seriously affects women's physical health. Women should go to a regular hospital in time to take targeted treatment measures to avoid the deterioration and development of the disease.

Pelvic effusion refers to the presence of inflammatory exudate in the pelvic cavity, which may occur after the endometrium becomes inflamed. It is a slightly viscous fluid that exudes from the swollen cells of the endometrial tissue and is gradually wrapped by the surrounding tissue to form a cystic mass. Pelvic effusion can be divided into physiological and pathological. Pathological pelvic effusion will grow larger and have a certain impact on pregnancy. It should be treated early to avoid harmful effects on the body. Physiological pelvic effusion is mostly formed during the menstrual period or ovulation period. A small amount of blood will accumulate in the pelvic cavity of women during the menstrual period or ovulation period.

Pathological pelvic effusion is mostly caused by inflammation, which is the presence of inflammatory exudate in the pelvic cavity. If there is pathological pelvic effusion, the patient will experience lower abdominal pain, lumbosacral pain, low back pain, distension and pain in the lower abdomen, and low back pain, and the patient will feel very uncomfortable. When menstruation comes, the endometrium will fall off, the blood sinuses inside the uterine cavity will be open, and small blood clots will be present, which is very suitable for the growth of bacteria. If you do not pay attention to personal hygiene during menstruation, use unclean sanitary napkins, toilet paper, etc., or have sexual intercourse during menstruation, it provides a good opportunity for bacteria to grow and infect, causing pelvic inflammatory disease in women.

Regardless of the cause of pelvic effusion, its serious impact on women's physical health cannot be ignored. If pelvic effusion is caused by inflammation of adjacent organs, they should be treated together. During the treatment, the doctor's instructions should be strictly followed. Sexual intercourse should not be allowed during the treatment, because the bacteria contained in the male reproductive organs can easily cause a deeper impact on the female vagina, leading to worsening inflammation and pelvic effusion.
