What to do if you lose hair after having a baby

I believe everyone knows the importance of hair to us. Our hair plays a role in protecting the scalp. If there is a problem with our hair, it will not only affect our image but also our physical health. Therefore, everyone must pay attention to protecting their hair in daily life. Postpartum women are prone to symptoms of hair loss. Below we will introduce what to do if you lose hair after giving birth.

1. The speed at which women's hair changes is closely related to the level of estrogen in the body. An increase in estrogen will slow down the rate of hair loss, while a decrease in estrogen will speed up the rate of hair loss. Usually within 6 months after delivery, the reproductive organ function will be in a slow recovery stage, and the secretion of female hormones will be significantly reduced, thus causing hair loss.

2. Mental factors. Some pregnant women may become emotionally unstable or have certain mental stress before and after delivery due to various reasons, which may lead to metabolic disorders, insufficient nutrition and induce hair loss.

3. The diet during pregnancy is monotonous, and the demand for various nutrients of pregnant women increases. If nutrition is not supplemented in time, it will cause a lack of protein, calcium, and B vitamins in the body after delivery, affecting the normal growth and metabolism of hair, making the hair become dry and brittle, and causing hair loss.

So, what should you do if you lose your hair after giving birth? First of all, pregnant women should maintain a happy mood and reduce anxiety, fear and other emotions. The most important source of nutrition for hair is protein. Therefore, in terms of diet, mothers should not only pay attention to balanced intake, but also add more protein-rich foods, such as: milk, eggs, lean meat, walnuts, sesame, purple rice and other foods. It should be noted that you should rest in bed within 24 hours after a normal delivery. You can get up and do some moderate activities after 24 hours. On the third day or after the stitches on the delivery wound are removed, you can do postpartum exercises to promote smooth urination and defecation, restore physical strength, and regulate metabolism.

Through the introduction, we can understand the importance of hair to the human body. In normal times, we need to fully protect our hair. Moreover, after giving birth and losing hair, women must be emotionally stable. A bad mood at this time will not help improve their hair loss problem. Protecting hair requires a long time. Short-term protection will not help the hair much. Women should also know this.
