What is the relationship between pink vaginal discharge and cervical erosion

Leucorrhea is originally white or milky white. Starting from puberty, pink discharge means abnormal vaginal discharge. Abnormal leucorrhea means a series of abnormal conditions in the body. There is also a certain relationship between abnormal leucorrhea and cervical erosion. Let us understand the relationship between pink leucorrhea and cervical erosion.

The main symptom of cervical erosion is increased vaginal discharge, which may even be the only symptom. Due to the different pathogens, as well as the differences in the scope and degree of erosion, the properties of leucorrhea are also different. If the erosion is mainly caused by columnar epithelial hyperplasia, the inflammatory infection is not obvious and the leucorrhea is mainly transparent mucus; if the cervical erosion is accompanied by obvious inflammatory infection, the leucorrhea will be yellow, purulent and viscous. If the erosion area is small or the lesion is shallow, the amount of leucorrhea may be less; if the lesion is deep and the area is large, the amount of leucorrhea will be more, and occasionally it may contain a small amount of blood.

Women with cervical erosion will experience irregular vaginal bleeding or bleeding during sexual intercourse. This phenomenon is caused by cervical erosion. Because the new epithelium covering the surface is very thin, the blood vessels and red tissue underneath can be seen. During sexual intercourse, there is direct contact between the penis and the cervix, which can cause damage to the cervix, resulting in a small amount of blood, or leucorrhea with blood. If the amount of bleeding is heavy, symptoms such as urgency and frequency of urination may also occur.

The above is the relationship between pink vaginal discharge and cervical erosion. Cervical erosion can also cause pink vaginal discharge, which is also a symptom of bleeding during sexual intercourse. Cervical erosion can cause vaginal bleeding or uterine bleeding, so you must pay attention to your daily behavior and not let cervical erosion affect your health.
