Can I drink beer during breastfeeding?

Women are very careful about what they eat during breastfeeding, because what they eat is related to the condition of the milk tasted by the baby. Here I would like to clearly inform all women that they cannot drink alcohol during breastfeeding, so they must avoid eating at this time.

1. Can I drink alcohol while breastfeeding?

The rules regarding wine for breastfeeding mothers are not that strict. But it is only possible if we increase the nutritional value in our daily life. Wine can also have a certain impact on the growth and development of the baby based on the metabolism of breast milk. Therefore, you can't drink alcohol often. November babies need to add complementary foods immediately. By the time the baby is about one and a half years old, the mother's diet will not have any strict requirements.

Both mother and baby must be in a comfortable position during feeding. The baby's chest and abdomen should be close to the mother's chest and abdomen, with the lower jaw close to the mother's breast. To sum up, when mothers are breastfeeding, the key points of breastfeeding posture are as follows:

1. Choose a posture that is comfortable and stress-relieving for both mother and baby;

2. The baby's body is close to the mother, with the ears, shoulders and buttocks in a straight line;

3. The baby should face the breast, with the nose facing the nipple;

4. The baby opens his mouth wide and holds the nipple and most of the nipples;

5. The baby's lower jaw is close to the breast.

2. Several correct postures for breastfeeding:

1. Cradle method. Stand upright on a table and chair with guardrails, hold the child in your arms, and support the child's body and head with your upper arms and palms. When feeding the right side, support with the right hand; when feeding the left side, support with the left hand. Place your hands under the breast in a U shape. There is no need to lower your head or lean forward, just let the child get close to the breast. This is an ideal method for early breastfeeding.

2. Cross cradle method. Similar to the first method, but when feeding the right side, use the left hand to support, and when feeding the left side, use the right hand to support.

3. Basketball hold method. This method is more suitable if it is a caesarean section or the breasts are large. Hold the child on one side of the body, bend your arms, stretch your palms, support the child's head, let him face your breast, and let the child's back rest on your upper arms. For comfort reasons, you can install a cushion on the leg.
