What is the cause of frequent urination, urgency, pain and blood in the urine?

Whether male or female, in today's society, the urinary system has become a synonym for a high incidence of diseases. Moreover, many friends who have urinary system diseases are embarrassed to go to the hospital for treatment and can only look up the causes and treatments of the disease on the Internet. The most common ones are frequent urination, urgency, pain, and blood in the urine. Let me briefly explain it to you below.

Frequent urination, urgency, pain, and blood in urine in women are symptoms caused by infection and other reproductive tract diseases. It is a normal physiological process for humans to excrete excess water. It should not be painful for women to excrete urine through the urethra. The female urethra and vagina are adjacent to each other, and bacteria can easily invade the vagina, especially after sexual intercourse. This is why "honeymoon cystitis" occurs. Secondly, the female vagina is close to the intestines and anus, and many large intestinal bacteria can enter the vagina, causing urinary tract infection and leading to painful urination.

Although the surface of the female urinary tract is covered with a layer of mucus like a protective film, the vaginal mucosa will breed a kind of lactobacillus, making the vagina acidic and inhibiting bacterial invasion. However, when these natural defense functions are congenitally deficient or acquiredly changed, they can easily cause vaginal or urinary tract infections.

These changes include:

1. Tumors or stones block urine excretion.

2. Cystocele changes the structure and function of the urinary tract.

3. The use of contraceptive spermicides and the abuse of antibiotics lead to changes in vaginal flora.

4. Menopausal women lack hormones.

5. Urinary tract instrument surgery or catheterization destroys the urinary tract mucus protective layer.

6. Allergies to soap, toilet paper, lubricants, vaginal cleansers, contraceptive sponges or foams can also cause urinary pain.

It seems that frequent urination, urgency, pain, and blood in urine seem to be a very common disease, but it is caused by many diseases. Since there are many reasons that can cause the disease, both male and female friends should not only pay attention to their daily living habits, but also pay more attention to some details during sexual life to avoid inflammation.
