Irregular menstruation, what's wrong?

Menstruation is something that every normal woman will experience. However, due to various reasons in life, women's menstruation is not particularly regular. Some have irregular cycles, and some have abnormal menstrual volume. No matter what the situation is, it is a phenomenon of irregular menstruation, which needs to be taken seriously and actively adjusted. Some women may experience irregular menstruation once every half a month. Let's find out if this is normal.

Irregular menstruation is a symptom of irregular menstruation. Some bad habits in daily life lead to irregular menstruation:

Emotional abnormalities: Long-term mental depression, sulking, or severe mental stimulation and psychological trauma can all lead to menstrual disorders or dysmenorrhea or amenorrhea.

Irregular daily routine: According to research, women who have irregular work and rest schedules, lack of sleep, or catch a cold in the rain during menstruation will cause excessive contraction of blood vessels in the pelvis, which can cause oligomenorrhea or even amenorrhea. Therefore, women should have a regular daily life, avoid excessive fatigue, and especially keep away from cold and damp during menstruation.

Excessive dieting: Expert research shows that girls need body fat to account for at least 17% of their body weight for menarche to occur, and body fat must reach at least 22% of their body weight to maintain a normal menstrual cycle. People who diet excessively do not take in enough energy, which causes a large amount of fat and protein to be consumed in the body, resulting in estrogen synthesis disorders and obvious estrogen deficiency, affecting menstruation and even causing scanty menstruation or amenorrhea. Therefore, women who pursue a slim body must not blindly go on a diet to lose weight.

Addiction to smoking and drinking: Cigarettes and alcohol can interfere with physiological processes related to menstruation and cause menstrual disorders. Among women who smoke and drink excessively, 25% to 32% go to the hospital for treatment due to menstrual disorders; among women who smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day or drink more than 100 ml (strong liquor), the number of those seeking medical treatment due to menstrual disorders is three times that of women who do not smoke or drink. Therefore, women should not smoke and drink less.

Through the above introduction, we know what is going on when menstruation comes once every half a month. This is also a manifestation of irregular menstruation. We need to actively regulate and treat it after it occurs. In normal times, we should also pay attention to our regular life, especially maintaining a happy mood and a balanced diet.
