How to treat endometrial thickening at the age of 50?

If you are diagnosed with endometrial thickening at the age of 50, I believe you will feel very worried. Moreover, gynecological diseases are not only for young women. Even if you have already stopped menstruating, you may still have it. So no matter what age group you are in, you must pay good attention to your body. Now you have an understanding of this knowledge so that you can treat your body in time and recover.

Treatment:

1. You can choose curettage treatment: Generally, one curettage can control bleeding. If bleeding still occurs after curettage, hysteroscopy and B-ultrasound should be performed to rule out submucosal myoma or other organic lesions. Patients with polycystic ovary syndrome who may also have infertility during the reproductive period and clinical manifestations of anovulation should be treated according to polycystic ovary syndrome.

2. The menopausal transition period is often characterized by anovulatory functional uterine bleeding. If menstruation is infrequent and the amount of blood is heavy or the bleeding time is long after curettage and hemostasis, progesterone treatment should be given every two months, and follow-up observation should be conducted after 3 cycles in total.

3. In the late menopause, you should ask whether to use estrogen replacement therapy alone. After curettage, the replacement therapy can be suspended or progesterone can be added. Progestogens can inhibit the proliferation of the endometrium caused by estrogen.

Patients with endometrial thickening should avoid eating foods:

1. Cold food. Especially before and after menstruation, you should be especially careful about eating overheated soups and dishes; eating raw or cold food is taboo.

2. Sour, astringent and spicy foods. It can easily lead to qi stasis and blood stasis and should be avoided. It is pungent, warm and dispersing, and is beneficial for the circulation of qi. It can be eaten, but not too much, because the spiciness and stimulation may aggravate the pain.

3. Thick and greasy products. It is easy to cause blood stasis, so it is better to eat less. Light and refreshing foods are more suitable. Poultry, livestock, eggs, milk, and fish are generally edible, and those with qi and blood deficiency can use them to replenish qi and nourish blood. Snails, clams, crabs and turtles are cold foods and should be eaten in moderation. Avoid eating meat that is too fatty.

The above is the treatment method for endometrial thickening. You should pay attention to every aspect in your daily life, especially in diet. As the saying goes, "diseases come from the mouth," it is not without reason. Even older female friends must pay attention to it so that you can be healthy. The editor wishes you a speedy recovery.
