Causes of vaginal odor during early pregnancy

Many women pay close attention to their every move when they are pregnant, because they are afraid that their carelessness or carelessness will affect the fetus, so these women are suspicious. However, many women will still experience many changes in their physiology when they are pregnant. Some women always have a peculiar smell in their vagina during pregnancy, and they are so scared that they don’t know what is going on. Let’s take a look at it together:

If a woman has vaginal odor during pregnancy, it will affect the health of the baby. When a woman experiences this condition, it is likely caused by vaginitis and cervical erosion. To determine what disease is caused, you need to go to the hospital for examination. However, women can preliminarily determine what disease they have based on the relevant symptoms of the disease.

There are many types of vaginitis, and their symptoms are mainly as follows:

1. Trichomonas vaginitis: increased leucorrhea, milky white or yellow, sometimes purulent, often foamy and smelly. In severe cases, there is bloody leucorrhea, dysuria, frequent urination, and hematuria.

2. Candidal vaginitis: vulvar itching, vulvar and vaginal burning pain, increased leucorrhea in the shape of tofu dregs, sometimes accompanied by frequent urination, dysuria, and pain during sexual intercourse. During gynecological examination, white film-like substance can be seen attached to the inner side of the labia minora and the vaginal mucosa, which will be exposed after wiping off the red and swollen membrane surface. In the acute phase, damaged erosive surface or superficial ulcers can be seen.

3. Nonspecific vaginitis: There is a feeling of falling and burning in the vagina, accompanied by pelvic discomfort and general fatigue. Vaginal secretions increase and become purulent, serous, and have a foul odor. As the secretions irritate the urethral opening, they can cause frequent, urgent, and painful urination.

4. Bacterial vaginitis: increased leucorrhea, grayish white and thin. The vaginal mucosa is congested, with scattered bleeding spots, itchy and burning sensation in the vulva, and a foul odor in the vulva.

The above are just some related ones. It is recommended that you learn more about them after reading them. It is more important for women when they are pregnant, because our normal vagina does not have any odor. If such a phenomenon occurs, you must be vigilant.
