What are the regulations for prenatal check-up leave?

With the progress of society, there is more and more care for women. At this time when our women are facing marriage and childbirth, there are also special preferential treatments for women, such as prenatal examination leave. So how does the country formulate prenatal examination leave? What kind of treatment can we women enjoy? Let’s take a look together and see how it was formulated.

According to the third paragraph of Article 6 of the Special Provisions on Labor Protection for Female Employees, the time required for pregnant female employees to undergo prenatal examinations during working hours shall be included in their working hours. However, the law does not clearly stipulate how many times prenatal check-up leave can be taken and how long each leave should last. Some regions, such as Nanjing, have special regulations. Generally speaking, prenatal check-ups are once within 3-4 months, once a month between 4-7 months, once every two weeks between 7-9 months, and once a week between 9-10 months, for a total of 11 times, each lasting half a day. If there are special circumstances that require increasing the number of prenatal check-ups, a certificate report from the hospital must be produced. So, you can go to the local labor department to inquire about the relevant situation.

The country has such regulations, which are very beneficial to us women who are first-time mothers. We don’t have to worry about our wages being deducted because of check-ups. We have no worries and can be happier when preparing for childbirth. Therefore, I hope the country will introduce more laws and regulations that are beneficial to women. This is also best for women.
