What are the symptoms of threatened miscarriage?

The pregnancy period of a pregnant woman lasts about 40 weeks. During this long period of time, pregnant mothers must do a good job of health care during pregnancy. In addition to some necessary physical examinations, food, clothing, housing and transportation must be properly arranged, especially to avoid the occurrence of threatened miscarriage during pregnancy. Next, let’s take a look at the symptoms of threatened abortion.

1. Vaginal bleeding. Bleeding is often considered the first sign of miscarriage, but it is normal to have vaginal bleeding in the first three months of pregnancy. If vaginal bleeding is accompanied by pain, then you need to pay attention, because it may be a sign of miscarriage.

2. During the gynecological examination, the cervix was not dilated, the amniotic sac was not ruptured, the size of the uterus was consistent with the menstrual period, the early pregnancy test was positive, and the ultrasound examination showed fetal heartbeat and baby's fetal movement. If the test tube embryo is normal and the cause of miscarriage is eliminated, the bleeding will stop, there will be no uterine contractions, and pregnancy can continue.

3. Do not eat if vomiting is severe, as it may cause dehydration and hypocalcemia. In severe cases, it may seriously endanger the lives of the fetus and the pregnant woman.

What causes threatened miscarriage? Let’s find out below!

1. Mom suffers from a systemic disease. Such as acute severe infectious diseases, chronic diseases (such as severe anemia, severe hypertension, heart disease, chronic nephritis, etc.), vitamin deficiency, and mercury, lead, alcohol and other poisoning manifestations, can lead to miscarriage.

2. The blood type does not match. Because antibodies are produced in the pregnant mother due to previous pregnancy or intravenous injection of RH factor or incompatible ABO blood type factors, when the embryo enters the fetus's body and coagulates with blood cells, it causes hemolysis and even miscarriage.

3. Endocrine imbalance. Excessive estrogen and insufficient progesterone are the causes of miscarriage in early pregnancy. Because the embryo is in the stage of replacing the corpus luteum function during the 12th to 14th week of pregnancy, endocrine imbalance is very likely to occur at this time. In addition, the high or low thyroid levels can hinder the oxidation process of cells, as well as excessive thyroid hormone stimulation and diabetes, which can all lead to miscarriage.

4. Chromosome abnormality. Studies on the sex chromosomes of spontaneously aborted fetuses revealed that 60% had abnormal karyotypes. Karyotype abnormalities are often accompanied by structural abnormalities in the fetus or embryo.

5. Abnormal mentality. Stress, anxiety, fear, and severe mental stimulation can all cause miscarriage.
