The relationship between cervical erosion and irregular menstruation

There are many reasons that can cause irregular menstruation, and various gynecological diseases can also affect the menstrual cycle. Therefore, in order to regulate the symptoms of irregular menstruation, what you need to do is to treat gynecological diseases in order to reduce irregular menstruation. Cervical erosion is a relatively common gynecological disease. There are many causes of cervical erosion. Let’s take a look at the causes of cervical erosion and the irregular menstruation caused by it.

During sexual intercourse, the penis and vagina are in direct contact. If men do not pay attention to hygiene, they can directly bring bacteria into the vagina and infect the cervix.

Premature sexual activity, frequent changes of sexual partners, and excessive sexual intensity (more than 4 times a week) are causes of cervical erosion that cannot be ignored.

The cause of cervical erosion is related to the menstrual cycle and the number of days it lasts. Women with short cycles or long durations are more likely to suffer from cervical erosion.

Flushing the vagina with a high concentration of disinfectant will not only affect the growth of normal vaginal flora, but also cause varying degrees of cervical epithelial damage and erosion.

The surface of the normal cervix is covered by a layer of squamous epithelium.

The surface is smooth and pink in color. The deep tissues of the cervix develop chronic inflammation due to infection, which causes the surface epithelium to become nutritionally impaired and fall off. The peeling surface of the epithelium is gradually covered by the columnar epithelium of the cervical canal. The columnar epithelium is very thin, and the blood vessels and red stroma underneath can be seen, so the surface becomes red. This is cervical erosion. Generally divided into 3 types: simple

The columnar epithelium on the surface of the erosion grows flat and smooth; the granular glandular epithelium undergoes transitional hyperplasia accompanied by stromal hyperplasia, making the surface uneven and granular; the papillary stromal hyperplasia is abnormally significant, and the surface is more uneven and papillary.

Lower-grade cervical erosion does not have a great impact on women's bodies, but higher-grade cervical erosion can cause great harm to the body. Therefore, friends suffering from cervical erosion should receive timely treatment to avoid harm. Hygiene habits in daily life should be improved, and a good sanitary environment can avoid the occurrence of cervical erosion.
