What is the painless abortion process?

It is unfortunate for a girl to get pregnant unexpectedly, but now women's troubles can be solved. Painless abortion has made many girls regain their confidence. So, is painless abortion painful? Some girls are particularly worried because it is their first time to have a painless abortion. It is necessary to know more about the process of painless abortion. So what is the process of painless abortion for women?

Preoperative preparation for abortion

Before the operation, regular hospitals should conduct preoperative examinations on pregnant women, such as routine blood tests, urine tests, B-ultrasound, electrocardiograms, routine leucorrhea tests, etc. Through these examinations, we can know whether the patient has systemic diseases, whether it is an ectopic pregnancy, whether there is gynecological inflammation, and can accurately determine the size and position of the gestational sac, thereby increasing the safety of the operation.

The whole process of painless abortion surgery

1. The operator should wear clean work clothes, a hat, a mask, wash his hands and wear sterile gloves.

2. The patient takes the curettage position (lithotomy position).

3. Cover the vulva with a sterile towel.

4. Review the position, size and appendages of the uterus in detail.

5. Use a speculum to dilate the vagina, wipe out the accumulated fluid in the vagina, expose the cervix, and after disinfecting the cervix and endocervical canal, use a cervical forceps to clamp the anterior or posterior lip of the cervix.

6. Use the probe to detect the depth of the uterine cavity in the direction of the uterus.

7. Use a cervical dilator to gently dilate the cervix in a pen-like manner (the degree of dilation should be half a size to one size larger than the straw used).

8. Suction of the uterine cavity

(1) Connect the suction tube to the negative pressure device prepared before the operation.

(2) Slowly insert the suction tube into the uterine cavity in the direction of the uterus. After reaching the bottom of the uterus, withdraw it slightly to find the implantation site of the embryo.

(3) Loosen the clamp on the negative pressure bottle device. When you feel negative pressure, rotate the straw clockwise or counterclockwise and move it up and down. When you feel something flowing into the straw and you feel the uterus contracting and the uterine wall feeling rough, you can fold and pinch the leather tube and remove the straw (be careful not to bring negative pressure in and out of the cervical tube). Then reduce the negative pressure to 100-200 mmHg. Continue to use the straw to suction the uterine cavity as described above for 1-2 weeks, then remove the straw and measure the depth of the uterine cavity.

The process of painless abortion has been introduced in detail above. Many young girls are afraid of painless abortion. By understanding this process, they will not be so worried or afraid in the future, nor will they worry about their bodies because of unexpected pregnancy. Painless abortion can better solve the worries of many girls.
