If irregular menstruation is caused by some lifestyle habits, it will generally not affect pregnancy. However, if irregular menstruation causes abnormal ovulation, or other diseases accompany irregular menstruation and are not taken seriously for a long time, it may lead to infertility. Its normal cycle is usually twenty-eight days, but anywhere from twenty-eight to forty-two days is normal. So what are the types of irregular menstruation? Will it affect pregnancy? The menstrual period is three to seven days, and the amount of blood is 35CC-40CC. About 90% of the menstrual blood is concentrated in the first three days. If the amount of menstrual blood is more than 80CC, it will cause anemia, which is a menstrual abnormality and should be adjusted in time. Abnormal menstrual cycle The most common reason for menstrual cycles to be too frequent or too long is that the follicles cannot develop and mature normally, resulting in abnormal ovulation. If the follicles are immature and there is no ovulation, there will be no "corpus luteum", and the estrogen and progesterone secreted by the ovaries will not fully regulate the endometrium. When the endometrium is too thick, it will shed erratically, resulting in irregular menstrual cycles and abnormal flow. Too little menstrual flow The reason why the menstrual volume is too small is endometrial adhesion. Although ovulation occurs, the endometrium cannot be formed, so the menstrual volume is of course very small. The most common cause of endometrial adhesions is abortion surgery, multiple endometrial scrapings, individual physical conditions or infection, which can cause severe damage to the endometrium, scarring and adhesions. Irregular bleeding Bleeding outside of menstrual period is always worrying. Bleeding between menstruation is called ovulation bleeding. It is not a serious problem and can be considered a physiological change. No treatment is required. If you bleed after sexual intercourse, you should seek medical attention as it may be caused by cervical erosion and inflammation. If the irregular menstruation is caused by lifestyle habits, it will not have a big impact on pregnancy. Alcohol can interfere with physiological processes related to menstruation and cause menstrual irregularities. Among women who drink excessively, 25%-32% go to the hospital for treatment due to irregular menstruation. Therefore, women need to pay more attention to and take care of their bodies, and not wait until problems arise before rushing to seek treatment. |
