How to treat mild uterine prolapse?

Women in menopause not only often feel upset, suffer from insomnia, hot flashes, sweating, etc., but also suffer from many diseases. And because the body is weaker, the harm caused by these diseases will be greater. Among them, uterine prolapse is a common disease among menopausal women, which seriously affects the physical and mental health of menopausal women. After falling ill, you must pay attention to timely symptomatic treatment according to your condition.

1. Drug treatment

For patients with mild uterine prolapse, or those who are elderly and frail and cannot afford surgery, some medications or simple tools can be used for treatment first.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that uterine prolapse is caused by insufficient Qi in the middle, Qi deficiency and sinking, which makes it unable to support the placenta. Or it may be due to overproduction, excessive labor, and the emptiness of the eight meridians, resulting in the weakening of the Chong and Ren meridians and the weakness of the Xi and Bao meridians. Therefore, the TCM principle of "replenishing the weak and lifting the sunken" is adopted, and Chinese medicine that replenishes the middle and replenishes qi is used to treat uterine prolapse.

Prescription: 30g of Astragalus, 10g each of Codonopsis pilosula, Atractylodes macrocephala, Angelica sinensis, Citrus aurantium, Cimicifuga heracleifolia, Bupleurum chinense, and Tangerine peel, and 6g of Licorice. Take it in decoction, 1 dose per day.

2. Surgical treatment

Surgical treatment is a commonly used treatment for uterine prolapse, and surgery should be performed for prolapse of grade II or above. The most commonly used method is to remove the uterus from the vagina and repair the anterior and posterior walls of the vagina. It is also the best surgery for treating uterine prolapse, and the disease rarely recurs after the operation. It is more suitable for women in menopause or postmenopause. Young women who wish to have another child and who have a long cervix can undergo the Mann procedure, which does not cut the uterine body but only a part of the cervix. At the same time, the ligaments around the uterus are reinforced and the anterior and posterior walls of the vagina are repaired. Because the uterus is left behind, there is a possibility of recurrence of the disease after the operation. In some cases, vaginal closure can be performed.

The severity of the disease is different, the patient's requirements are different, and the treatment methods used are definitely different. However, if active treatment can be given at the beginning of the disease, the effect will definitely be better. Therefore, once you find yourself feeling unwell, you should make sure to see a doctor in time so that you can receive early treatment and recover sooner.
