What is the cause of vaginal warts?

As a relatively common gynecological disease, vulvar warts now have a great negative impact on women's physical health, especially the disorders of sexual life. Many women do not pay enough attention to these diseases. The editor needs to help everyone understand the causes of genital warts so that they can be fully prepared mentally in the future to prevent the breeding of these diseases.

Genital warts, also known as genital warts or venereal warts, are a sexually transmitted disease caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). The sources of infection are not only patients, but also virus carriers and subclinical patients. The transmission route is through sexual intercourse with infectious sexual partners. The incubation period of this disease is 1 to 8 months, usually an average of 3 months.

The clinical manifestations vary. In the early stage, there are often no symptoms and pain. At first, they are small light red, dark red or dirty gray nipple-like protrusions, which gradually increase in size and tend to fuse or overlap with each other. There are pedicles at the roots, the surface is uneven, moist and soft, and appear as nipple-like, cauliflower-like or mushroom-like protrusions.

Genital warts are squamous cell hyperplasia wart-like lesions caused by human papillomavirus infection. Reports from home and abroad show that the incidence of vulvar condyloma acuminatum has increased significantly and has become a common sexually transmitted disease in women. HPV mainly infects the squamous epithelium. About 50%-70% of vulvar warts are accompanied by vaginal and cervical warts. It is also easy to coexist with a variety of sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhea, Trichomonas, Candida albicans, Chlamydia, and Treponema pallidum. Warm, moist vulvar skin is prone to the growth of HPV; during pregnancy, diabetes, or systemic diseases that affect cellular immune function, genital warts grow rapidly and are difficult to control.

Vulvar condyloma acuminatum can not only be transmitted through sexual intercourse, but virus carriers can also be infected. It has an incubation period and is a genital disease that is relatively harmful.

Vulvar warts are a relatively serious sexually transmitted disease. Patients who carry the virus generally have a higher chance of infection, and the virus also has a certain incubation period in the human body, which seriously endangers the health of the genitals and affects the sexual intercourse process between men and women. I believe that after the editor analyzes the reasons, we will be able to pay more attention to and treat this problem at an early stage.
