Reasons for no fetal heartbeat in 2 months of pregnancy

After finding out they are pregnant, female friends should go to the hospital for regular prenatal checkups so that they can know the condition of their fetus in time. If there is still no heartbeat when you are more than two months pregnant, it is a very abnormal phenomenon and you should go to the hospital for a follow-up examination immediately. So what exactly can cause no heartbeat after more than two months of pregnancy?

Generally, around 6 weeks of pregnancy, that is, after 42 days of pregnancy, the gestational sac will show primitive cardiovascular pulsation. However, for some people, due to late ovulation and late implantation of the gestational sac, the fetal heartbeat will also appear later. Two and a half months, which is more than 70 days of pregnancy, there is still no fetal heartbeat. This situation cannot rule out the possibility of fetal arrest. There are many factors that can cause fetal arrest, such as environmental factors, genetic factors, egg or mirror deformities, or the presence of anti-sperm antibodies, anti-egg antibodies, etc.

At 6 weeks of pregnancy, the embryo's spine and brain begin to form, and the heart begins to beat. B-ultrasound can measure the activity of the embryo and heart. At this time, the pregnant woman may have early pregnancy reactions. After 7 weeks, limbs begin to form. After 8 weeks, the embryo has eyes, but no face or external auditory canal; the embryo begins to move, but the pregnant woman cannot feel it yet. At 12 weeks, the fetus is about 7 cm long and weighs 20 grams. It has a human shape and its head appears larger than other parts of the body. The fetal heart rate can be heard using a Doppler stethoscope. The fundus of the uterus can be felt above the pubic symphysis through the abdomen.

There are many causes, such as: chromosomal abnormalities, semen abnormalities, inflammation, endocrine disorders, viral infections, maternal-fetal blood type incompatibility or drug-induced. It is recommended that you go to the hospital for a prenatal check-up before you plan to get pregnant next time.

The two-month-old fetus is relatively small, and the pregnancy time calculated based on the last menstrual period has a certain error, so there is no need to worry if there is no fetal heartbeat now. It should be because the fetus has not yet developed to this stage. As long as there are no other abnormalities, just do daily care and regular check-ups.

From the above, we all know the reason why there is no fetal heartbeat in 2 months of pregnancy. If you do not go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time, it is very likely to cause your fetus to suffocate, which can easily cause the death of the fetus.
