Causes of vaginal dryness during intercourse

Causes of vaginal dryness during intercourse

The vagina is the female reproductive organ. When both men and women are sexually excited, the female's lower body will produce secretions, which act as a lubricant. In this way, both men and women will feel pleasure during sexual intercourse. Some women also experience vaginal dryness during intercourse and cannot reach orgasm, which makes many people depressed. There are many reasons for vaginal dryness, which may be due to abnormal secretion or other reasons. Here are some of the reasons why vaginal dryness occurs during sex.

Vaginal dryness is often caused by abnormal hormone secretion, drug factors or vitamin B2 deficiency. During sexual intercourse, the secretion of fluid will gradually increase only when there is sexual excitement. If the sexual excitement is insufficient, the lubricating fluid will be secreted less or even not secreted, resulting in vaginal dryness. If the foreplay time during sexual intercourse is shorter than ten minutes, then the cause of vaginal dryness may be due to insufficient sexual excitement. In addition, gynecological inflammation and endocrine disorders can also cause vaginal dryness.

Causes of Vaginal Dryness:

1. Excess progesterone can cause yeast infections and vaginal dryness

2. Reduced vaginal discharge and vaginal dryness caused by the side effects of contraceptives

3. The parasympathetic nerves have been inactive for a long time and cannot provide hormones and neurotransmitters to help the vaginal tissue produce the hormone prostaglandin E-1 (PGE-1) that relaxes and increases tissue elasticity.

4. Caused by side effects of hysterectomy

5. Insufficient secretion of pituitary gonadotropin or lack of ovarian estrogen production function

6. Due to postpartum breastfeeding, the prolactin level in the body increases and inhibits the secretion of female hormones.

7. The cervical glands and Bartholin's glands do not secrete, the vaginal walls are not congested and therefore there is no exudate, so the vagina is not moisturized and becomes dry.

The above are the reasons for vaginal dryness during intercourse. If vaginal dryness is caused by abnormal secretion or other gynecological diseases, it is recommended that you see a gynecologist. The doctor will give you appropriate advice and provide medical solutions to vaginal dryness. Many women also choose to nourish their yin to restore their vagina to normal. I hope the above content can help everyone.
