How to treat premenstrual abdominal pain?

Many female friends say that they feel abdominal pain before menstruation, which is also a special sign of menstruation. It not only causes physical harm to female friends, but is also psychologically devastating. Especially when I see many of my friends around me jumping around and being full of energy during their menstrual period, I feel extremely envious. In fact, stomach pain can be relieved. Let me explain it now.

If you feel discomfort in your lower abdomen before your period, this is a normal reaction and is part of premenstrual syndrome. Due to the sudden decrease of sex hormones in the body before menstruation, it will affect the whole body system and cause certain reactions. These reactions usually occur 7-14 days before menstruation, worsen 2-3 days before menstruation, and gradually ease and disappear after menstruation. In medicine, these obvious changes are called premenstrual syndrome. The general manifestations are: ⑴ Mainly mental symptoms: common nervous sensitivity, irritability, general fatigue, sometimes causing headaches, insomnia, lack of concentration, etc. ⑵ Mainly physical symptoms: common symptoms include swelling of hands, feet and face, abdominal bloating, abdominal distension in some people, constipation in most girls, lower abdominal pain and breast pain, etc. Before menstruation, the pelvic and uterine cavities are congested, and there will be back pain and lower abdominal pain. These symptoms will be relieved after the menstruation ends. If you have pelvic inflammatory disease, the pain will persist, so you need to get checked. Before and after menstruation, we must avoid spicy and cold foods, so that the uterus will not be affected by those foods, which can greatly reduce the probability of abdominal pain during menstruation.

The so-called dysmenorrhea refers to the pain in the lower abdomen or waist, or even the lumbar sacral region, that women experience during and before and after menstruation. Primary dysmenorrhea mostly refers to those with no obvious lesions in the reproductive organs, so it is also called functional dysmenorrhea, which is more common in adolescent girls, unmarried people and married people without children. This type of dysmenorrhea can be relieved or disappear after a normal delivery. Your current condition is normal. You can drink some brown sugar water during dysmenorrhea. You know brown sugar, right? In addition, apply a hot towel on your stomach.

The uterus is a very important organ for female friends, and it is also very easy to catch cold. Therefore, you can apply a hot water bag or drink more hot water during menstruation. Dysmenorrhea is often caused by uterine cold. Don’t drink cold water during your period, and don’t drink it in the summer. Warm water is enough. It is good to drink more brown sugar water. Don’t be too nervous before your period. Many people suffer from stomach pain because of being too nervous.
