What to do if your belly gets bigger during pregnancy

If you feel your belly is big three months pregnant, you should first go to the hospital to see a doctor to find out the reason. Generally, a woman with a big belly will look so big at three months. It may also be because the baby is bigger. Mothers don’t need to be too nervous. You still need to go to the hospital for an ultrasound to find out the reason. If the ultrasound shows that everything is normal, then you don’t need to worry too much. Just remember to eat a balanced diet. I hope every mother can give birth to a lovely baby.

1. Are all the examinations, such as B-ultrasound and fetal heart rate examination, normal? If so, don't worry, it may be intestinal gas. You can tap your lower abdomen to see if there is a drum sound. If so, it is intestinal gas.

2. Generally speaking, the first child will be born in about five months. Because the position of each woman's uterus can be tilted forward or backward, and pregnant women are different in height, weight, and thinness, the size of the belly will not look the same in the same month of pregnancy. The size of the fetus is assessed by the doctor based on the height of the uterus, abdominal circumference, and abdomen. As long as the B-ultrasound is normal, there is no need to worry.

3. The pregnancy will be very obvious in three months. If the pregnant woman is relatively slim, it may not be noticeable after three months. It depends on the individual. But one thing is certain, your belly will be bigger in three months than before pregnancy because your uterus has grown.

4. Generally speaking, the fundus of the uterus is at the level of 2-3 horizontal fingers above the pubic symphysis at the 12th week. As the position of the fundus gradually rises, the abdomen also gradually bulges until the fundus is located under the xiphoid process in the late pregnancy. Before that, it is generally impossible to see that the belly has grown bigger from the outside.

I hope the above can give mothers a reference. You should go to the hospital for a comprehensive check-up. A three-month-old belly is generally not visible. If it is quite large, you should consult a doctor to find the cause and you don’t need to be so scared. If the B-ultrasound shows no problem, the mother should keep a good mood, enjoy the sunshine and wait for the baby to come, and go for a walk outside when the weather is good.
