Some things that appear during menstruation are normal. Is breast hyperplasia during menstruation true?

Breast hyperplasia during menstruation is a problem that every woman will encounter to a greater or lesser extent. The reason why menstrual breast hyperplasia occurs is that the sex hormones in women's bodies undergo cyclical changes throughout the menstrual cycle. In the first half of the menstrual cycle, under the influence of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), the follicles gradually mature, estrogen levels increase, and the breasts show proliferative changes. At this time, the breasts will show signs of stretching of the mammary ducts, epithelial hyperplasia, enlargement of the alveoli, and expansion of the duct lumens, leading to edema of the periductal tissues and congestion of the local tissues. Therefore, the breasts will become noticeably swollen and even painful during this period.

The symptoms of menstrual breast hyperplasia are more obvious 3 to 4 days before menstruation. The ductal epithelial cells in the lobules are hypertrophic, and the secretions between the lobes and the terminal ducts are significantly increased. Therefore, many women will feel breast swelling, enlargement, tension and firmness before menstruation, and even have varying degrees of pain and tenderness, and sometimes lumps can be felt.

During menstruation, everyone must be careful not to eat irritating food and raw or cold food. Pay attention to proper water replenishment. Drinking more brown sugar water is helpful for blood replenishment. Don't ignore your body for the sake of your mouth. Pay attention to your eating habits and don't follow your temper. Drink more hot water and don't skip meals. Dieting during menstruation is not good for your body.
