Why is there a lot of vaginal discharge in the fourth month of pregnancy?

Some pregnant women have health problems during pregnancy, so pregnant women need to pay attention to timely check-ups to avoid dangerous situations caused by this problem. Especially if pregnant women have abnormal leucorrhea, it can easily lead to danger. So why is there so much leucorrhea in the fourth month of pregnancy? Let me introduce this issue to you below.

1. Physiological increase in leucorrhea. This type of leucorrhea is white, paste-like or egg white-like, highly viscous, and has no fishy smell. It may increase during a woman's ovulation period or pregnancy due to increased estrogen levels. When a woman is sexually excited, the Bartholin's glands will secrete a transparent fluid to lubricate the vaginal opening for sexual intercourse, which also belongs to increased leucorrhea. Pelvic congestion before and after menstruation may also cause increased leucorrhea.

2: Pathogen infection. Due to the use of contaminated sanitary products, pathogens enter the reproductive tract through the vaginal opening, causing infection and increased leucorrhea. Some types of pathogens enter the female reproductive system and may infect the reproductive tract, causing increased vaginal discharge.

3: Candida albicans infection. People who take antibiotics, birth control pills or adrenal steroids for a long time, as well as pregnant women, diabetics, and women who like to wear tight clothes are more susceptible to infection, and it is not easy to cure once infected.

4. Vaginitis. Some women who have had their ovaries removed or are in menopause gradually lack estrogen in their bodies, which causes the vaginal wall to become fragile and susceptible to bacterial infection and inflammation, resulting in increased vaginal discharge, which is thin foamy or white and thick like bean curd, and is odorless or has a foul odor.

5. Chronic cervicitis, ovarian dysfunction, vaginal adenosis or cervical cancer. These diseases often cause increased vaginal discharge, and the vaginal discharge is colorless and transparent.

The above is my opinion on this issue that I introduced to you. If a pregnant woman has the above problems, she needs to pay attention to timely treatment to avoid dangerous situations that may cause her health to become dangerous due to the above problems. In particular, pregnant women should pay attention to avoid gynecological diseases. Finally, I wish the pregnant woman a speedy recovery.
