Irregular menstruation refers specifically to changes in menstruation caused by various reasons, including early or delayed age of menarche, changes in cycle time, menstrual period and menstrual volume. It is one of the most common gynecological diseases in women. There are many reasons for irregular menstruation, most of which are signs of gynecological diseases. It is recommended to go to a regular hospital for examination in time.

What should I do if my period is delayed but I have stomach pain?

It is recommended to maintain a stable lifestyle and learn to release stress. If necessary, go to the hospital for a physical examination in time. If you need a hospital outpatient clinic, it is recommended to go to a Grade 3 hospital, considering the complete equipment and the medical experience of experts.

There are many reasons for menstrual disorders. If you have irregular menstruation, you need to go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment in time. The clinical symptoms of menstrual disorders are often various. Some are irregular menstrual cycles, aperiodicity, and increased bleeding duration. Some are mainly manifested in changes in the amount, quality, and color of menstruation. Some are mainly manifested as amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, and other psychological distortions.

During the menstrual period, you should learn to relax your body and mind, adjust your emotions, and long-term tension and anxiety will cause an imbalance in the functions of the hypothalamus-pituitary gland and the central nervous system, which can easily lead to irregular menstruation. In addition, you should also prevent excessive fatigue and excessive pelvic congestion, which may increase menstrual volume and prolong menstrual duration.

Generally, you can confirm whether you are pregnant by taking a blood test for HCG 8-10 days after having sex. It is the earliest and most accurate testing method at present. It is recommended to use a pregnancy test strip 7 days after the menstrual cycle is delayed. The more accurate test strip shows two red bars, indicating a positive result, which means pregnancy.

What should I do if I have menstrual pain?

1. Stay warm

Drinking a hot winter drink or applying a hand warmer to your lower abdomen can help keep your body warm. Keeping the body warm can accelerate blood circulation, effectively relieve uterine cramps and pelvic hematoma, and thus have an analgesic effect.

2. Acupressure

The feet have a number of acupressure points that are thought to connect with the chi in the pelvic region. Slowly pinch with your thumb and fingertips, moving up along the heel to the calf muscle. Acupressure massage for a few minutes can effectively relieve pain.

3. Practice yoga

Yoga fitness can also relieve menstrual cramps. Kneel down on your bent knees and sit on your heels. Keep your forehead on the ground and your arms straight at your sides. Maintain this posture until you feel uncomfortable and the symptoms of dysmenorrhea are relieved.

4. Moxibustion

Use Sanyinjiao, Zusanli and other acupoints, and hang the moxibustion patch at a height of about 3cm from the acupoints to make the part moist and hot without burning pain. Massage each acupoint for about 10-15 minutes, until a blush appears on the skin.

5. Taking painkillers

When menstrual pain begins, women can take painkillers with milk or food. The painkillers take effect in about 20-30 minutes and last for about 12 hours. This method is not recommended for long-term use.
