How big is a pregnant woman's belly in three months

Pregnant women are a relatively special group. They should pay attention to their physical health during pregnancy, otherwise some details in life will often cause some adverse reactions. Moreover, the size of their belly will also reflect whether the fetus is developing normally. Now let’s find out how big a pregnant woman’s belly is when she is three months pregnant.

When a pregnant woman is three months pregnant, her belly will not be very big, and if the pregnant woman is relatively thin, it will basically not be visible.

At three months of pregnancy, the fetus is about 2-9cm long and weighs about 9-23g. The baby's eyes, fingers, and toes are already clearly visible; some bones are beginning to harden and the rudiments of joints are appearing. At this time, the baby's limbs can move freely in the amniotic fluid, and the left and right legs can flex and extend alternately. The fetus is busy moving, sometimes kicking its legs, sometimes stretching its body, and it looks like it is dancing water ballet. The baby does not start to be called a fetus until it enters the third month. In the eighth week, the fetal head accounts for 1/2 of the total length of the fetus. The growth is then accelerated, and by the twelfth week the body weight has doubled. At this time, the fetus's internal organs have begun to function and can swallow amniotic fluid and excrete it as urine. By the twelfth week, the external genitalia of mature male and female fetuses have already appeared.

During the third month of pregnancy, the baby has begun to take human form. At this time, the fetus's brain is getting bigger and bigger, accounting for about half of the entire body. The key organs for the fetus's growth will be completed within two weeks. In the days that follow, the chances of miscarriage in pregnant women will decrease accordingly.

At three months, the fetus begins to take shape and develop continuously. The fetus is not particularly large, so in order to measure her own physical health and the development of the fetus, pregnant women need to go to the hospital for regular check-ups. Don't avoid check-ups because you are afraid of trouble. Some small details can also affect the development of the fetus.
