How to treat excessive phlegm after pregnancy

How to treat excessive phlegm after pregnancy

Generally speaking, the treatment of symptoms during pregnancy should avoid drugs and surgery as much as possible. In life, many pregnant women will have coughs and sputum, which will cause breathing difficulties and other conditions that are not conducive to fetal growth. Therefore, the choice of treatment method for sputum after pregnancy is extremely critical. So, how should sputum after pregnancy be treated?

Pregnant women with cough and phlegm should try diet therapy first and try not to take medicine without authorization:

1. White radish candy: Cut the white radish into 1 cm dices, put it in a dry, clean container, fill it with honey, cover it tightly, soak it for about 3 days, the water will seep out and mix with the honey, and store it in the refrigerator; scoop out a little each time and add warm water to drink, it has a very good cough-relieving effect. If you want to drink it suddenly and don’t have time to soak it, you can grind the white radish, add 1/3 amount of honey, mix well, and then add warm water to drink.

2. Stewed pears with rock sugar: Peel the fresh pears, split them in half and remove the cores. Add appropriate amount of rock sugar and steam them in a pot until soft.

3. Stewed pear with Fritillaria cirrhosa: Use peeled and cored fresh pears, add 2 grams of Fritillaria cirrhosa powder, steam in a pot until soft, and eat while hot.

4. Drink more warm water. Holding warm water in your mouth also has a good cough-relieving effect.

5. Bake oranges: Use chopsticks to make a hole in the center of the bottom of the orange, stuff some salt in it, wrap it with aluminum foil, and bake it in the oven for 15-20 minutes. After taking it out, peel the orange peel and eat it while it is hot. Or you can dry the orange peel into dried tangerine peel, add water to make tea, and drink it in big gulps. It has amazing effects.

6. Sugar-boiled kumquats: Wash the kumquats, poke two or three holes with a toothpick, add water to cover them and bring to a boil, add rock sugar, simmer over low heat, and eat while hot. Let the unfinished drink cool down and store in the refrigerator. Scoop some out each time and eat it warm.

Generally speaking, diet therapy is the best way to ensure the health of both pregnant women and fetuses. When pregnant women have symptoms of cough and sputum, they can choose diet therapy methods such as stewed pear with Fritillaria cirrhosa, white radish candy, sugar-boiled kumquat and stewed pear with rock sugar to cure their cough and sputum as soon as possible.
