What to do if pregnant women have inverted nipples

Pregnant women are a group we need to take care of with all our heart and soul, because they are carrying the hope of the family and the baby they love most. The health of pregnant women is directly related to the health of the baby in their belly. Therefore, we need to pay attention to some problems and symptoms that occur during pregnancy. The phenomenon of inverted nipples in pregnant women is a phenomenon that people are more concerned about. So, what should pregnant women do if they have inverted nipples?

A nipple that is deeply sunken in the areola is not only unsightly in appearance, but also can trap dirt or oil, causing itching, eczema or inflammation.

Manual traction: squeeze the nipple out of the skin by yourself, pinch the nipple horizontally or vertically with the thumb and index finger, and pull the nipple outward continuously or intermittently, each time for about thirty minutes, alternating between the nipples on both sides. 3-5 times a day. Mechanical traction: that is, through a manual or electric breast pump, the principle of negative pressure is used to suck out the nipple. The nipple can also be sucked and pulled continuously or intermittently, for thirty minutes each time, alternating between the two sides, 3-5 times a day. The above two correction methods can achieve better results after two months.

You can pull out the sunken nipple in the breast by hand and fix it for a while. If this method does not work well, you can try syringe suction. Prepare a pair of 10 ml plastic syringes, remove the outer shell of the front end of the syringe; pull out the needle core, turn the syringe upside down, and align the opening at the rear end of the syringe shell with the sunken nipple; then insert the needle core from the cut part of the front end of the syringe, gently aspirate, use the negative pressure of the syringe to suck out the sunken nipple, and fix it for 5-6 minutes; 1-2 times a day.

People are quite familiar with the phenomenon of inverted nipples in pregnant women, because this phenomenon is a normal symptom that occurs with the physical changes of pregnant women. It basically has no major impact on the body. It only causes changes in the shape of the breasts, making the breasts look less beautiful. Therefore, inverted nipples in pregnant women are not scary.
