Precautions before tubal ligation

Precautions before tubal ligation

Surgery is very common, and you must understand it before choosing it. Surgical treatment is for some complex diseases, so you cannot choose surgery casually. However, when performing tubal ligation, you can also choose surgery, which can be thorough. What are the precautions before tubal ligation? Many people are not clear about it. The following is a detailed introduction to its precautions.

Precautions before tubal ligation:

Women who have given birth to two or more children, or those who are unable to bear children due to illness, can undergo tubal ligation. If you only plan to have two children, you can have a vasectomy at the same time as the second cesarean section. For those with abdominal wall skin infection, acute or chronic pelvic infection, or general weakness (postpartum hemorrhage, heart, liver, kidney and other diseases with functional failure), or body temperature exceeding 37.5℃ twice within 24 hours, ligation should not be performed for the time being.

(1) Preoperative preparation should be done well:

① The person receiving the female piercing surgery should be in a good mood and eliminate any worries.

② Wash the abdomen with warm water and keep it clean to facilitate surgery and reduce the chance of postoperative infection.

③ Do not eat or drink within 4 hours before the operation to avoid vomiting caused by traction and stimulation of internal organs during the operation.

④ You should empty your bladder before going to the operating table to facilitate the surgical operation.

(2) The best time to perform ligation is:

①Within 3-7 days after menstruation ends.

② After mid-term induced labor and curettage, artificial abortion, and IUD removal, ligation surgery can be performed immediately (or within one or two days).

③Ligation can be performed at the same time as cesarean section or other gynecological surgery.

④ For normal delivery, ligation surgery can be performed on the first day after delivery. For those with difficult delivery or infection during delivery, the patient should be hospitalized for observation for 3 days without any abnormalities before undergoing surgery. For those who have not changed their menstruation during breastfeeding, diagnostic curettage should be performed before ligation.

After understanding the precautions before tubal ligation, you need to understand these aspects when undergoing tubal ligation. If these behaviors are involved in the operation, such operation should not be performed, otherwise it will have a great impact on the body. This is something you need to pay attention to when undergoing tubal ligation.
