What is white fluid coming out of the vagina?

When our body is symptomatic, some of our secretions will also give us some warnings, such as vaginal secretions. Under normal circumstances, women's menstruation and leucorrhea alternate, but if white liquid flows out of the vagina, what is this liquid? If we go to the hospital for a check-up, the doctor will ask us to check the secretions, so let us explain what the white liquid flowing out of the vagina is.

Normal leucorrhea is colorless, transparent or milky white mucus, acidic, with a pH of 4-5, no odor, and measures 0.5 to 1CL. It is generally not discharged from the body and mainly serves to lubricate the vagina and vulva. If the amount of leucorrhea exceeds the normal range, or the color, properties and odor change, consider the possibility of inflammation. It is recommended to go to the hospital for examination and keep the vulva clean and dry in daily life. Avoid scratching, washing with hot water and using soap. Use potassium permanganate solution for sitting bath when there is infection. The underwear should be breathable and loose, and avoid alcohol and spicy or allergic food.

If it is serious, it may be vaginitis, you can take the following measures

1. General treatment: Active treatment can eliminate susceptible factors. Keep the vulva clean and dry, and avoid scratching. Sexual intercourse is prohibited during treatment. Spicy and irritating foods should not be consumed.

2. Change the pH value of the vagina: The most suitable pH value for the growth of Candida is 5.5. Therefore, using alkaline solution to wash the vulva and vagina to change the pH value of the vagina will inhibit the growth and reproduction of mold. You can use 2% to 4% baking soda water to wash the vagina 1 to 2 times a day, and 2 weeks is a course of treatment. After washing, wipe the vulva dry to keep it dry to inhibit the growth of Candida.

3. Vaginal medication: Using imidazole suppositories for vaginal medication has a good effect on fungal vaginitis. Take 1 clotrimazole suppository every night, insert it into the vagina after flushing, and 10 to 14 days is a course of treatment; or take 1 Daconil suppository every night, and apply the medication to the vagina after flushing.

In fact, if these white liquids have a certain odor, or are not colorless and transparent, it is very likely that there is something wrong with our body. In order to diagnose your condition, you must first go to the hospital to do a secretion test to test what is contained in the secretions. When your leucorrhea is abnormal, a large part of the reason is caused by bacterial infection, so we must pay attention to our daily hygiene habits.
