What is the cause of persistent moderate vaginal bleeding?

Bleeding related to inflammation

1. Vulvar bleeding is seen in vulvar ulcers, urethral caruncle, etc.

2. Vaginal bleeding is seen in vaginal ulcers, vaginitis, especially senile vaginitis, Trichomonas vaginitis, etc.

3. Cervical bleeding is seen in acute and chronic cervicitis, cervical erosion, cervical ulcer, cervical polyps, etc.

4. Uterine bleeding is seen in acute and chronic endometritis, chronic myometritis, acute and chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, etc.

Tumor-related bleeding

1. Irregular vaginal bleeding in young girls is seen in botryoid sarcoma.

2. Vaginal bleeding in middle-aged and older women is often caused by uterine fibroids.

3. Middle-aged or postmenopausal women with contact or irregular bleeding due to cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, functional ovarian tumors, etc.

The above are the reasons for continuous moderate vaginal bleeding. If it occurs during a special period, it is normal. If bleeding occurs during other periods, you must go to the hospital for examination. It is very important to do a comprehensive examination. The most important thing is your own health.
